Emakunde recognizes us as “Collaborating Entity in Equal Opportunities between Women and Men”
We are the 1st company of road transport in Euskadi recognized as collaborating entity of Emakunde
Emakunde thus recognizes with the accreditation of Collaborating Entity, the commitment and the important work on equality that from the company we have been implementing in recent years both internally and externally.
Currently, the company governs its equality policy following its triennial Plan, which began in 2011 and with a schedule scheduled until 2013, with concrete actions from the internal and external point of view of the organization.
One of the last actions reflected in the Plan and recently implemented was the creation of the “Protocol of sexual and sexual harassment at work”, a reaffirmation that in our company we do not tolerate gender violence, and through the protocol we commit to Regulate the problems of sexual and sexist harassment at work, establishing a method that is applied to prevent through training, responsibility and information.
It should be noted that in the last 4 years the number of drivers has doubled, which is very positive and indicates a tendency to encourage equal employment opportunities.
In addition, in diagnostic studies carried out in the company, the staff itself affirms that the company does offer the same access possibilities in the process of selecting personnel for women and men. The result is still positive when it comes to training offered and internal promotion: a resounding yes to equality for women and men.
